THE DEPOSIT
The challenge facing podcasts today is their inevitable death if not properly preserved for the future. Even the most exceptional and relevant podcasts of our time run the risk of being forgotten and left unheard within the next 100 or even 1000 years. Statistics suggest that the average lifespan of a common podcast is a mere 174 days, highlighting the urgency of finding a solution to preserve the Mizter Rad Show for the future
Compounding this challenge is the staggering number of podcasts saturating the digital landscape. As of 2023, there are approximately 5 million active podcasts worldwide, boasting over 70 million episodes. Amid this immense sea of audio content, it becomes increasingly difficult for individual shows to stand the test of time and retain their relevance.
The Mizter Rad Show, driven by the vision of preserving the efforts and wisdom of today's brightest minds, has found a sanctuary for its episodes in the Arctic World Archive (AWA) vault. By leveraging the cutting-edge technology provided by Piql, the show ensures the long-term storage and safeguarding of its invaluable content.
Through this remarkable collaboration between Mizter Rad, Piql, and AWA, the stories and insights shared by esteemed professionals such as doctors, politicians, scientists, engineers, entrepreneurs, artists, and independent thinkers are securely preserved for future generations to celebrate. Regardless of how different our descendants may appear or how society may evolve, the Mizter Rad Show's captivating narratives remain protected and accessible.
“ Preserving the Mizter Rad Show is like bottling a piece of our collective intelligence and innovation, ready to be uncorked by future generations. “
